How to Build a Compatible PC
Building a PC is rewarding, but picking incompatible parts can be an expensive mistake. Our builder checks every component against every other component in real time so you never buy parts that don't work together.
CPU + Motherboard Socket: The most critical compatibility check. AMD Ryzen 7000/9000 series use socket AM5. Intel Core Ultra 200S (Arrow Lake) uses LGA 1851. Intel 13th/14th Gen uses LGA 1700. These are not interchangeable.
Memory Type: AM5 boards use DDR5 exclusively. LGA 1851 boards use DDR5. LGA 1700 boards come in both DDR4 and DDR5 variants — check before buying.
GPU Clearance: Modern high-end GPUs like the RTX 5090 and 4090 can be over 330mm long. Not all cases can fit them. We check length clearance automatically.
Power Delivery: Pair your CPU and GPU TDPs with an appropriately sized PSU. Our builder calculates the recommended wattage including transient spike headroom.
